Start/Stop Service

Our customer service team is available Monday – Friday from 8am -5pm to assist and answer questions pertaining to starting or stopping a SFWPA water service.

New Installation:

SFWPA’s customer service team will complete a new application for service, which will help determine whether or not the property is eligible for SFWPA service (both domestic and irrigation). This determination also includes the LAFCO annexation process, if applicable. Once these administrative processes have been completed, the application is then sent to our foremen for physical installation review and costing. Please allow 7 business days for the completion of the new application for service process.

**Quotes are not provided over the phone**

Property Ownership Change:

If you are purchasing a property that already has a SFWPA account, the transfer should take place during the title call process. At this time, any final account balances are reconciled in the escrow process along with updating the account contact information, via the recorded grant deed. This process will occur between SFWPA staff and the title company on the day escrow closes.
